Aqua Medic Flotor 5000 L Protein Skimmer

Aqua Medic Flotor 5000, 1.93m high, an air-driven external protein skimmer for aquaria up to 2000L.

Requires a separate water pump to deliver 2000 to 4000 l/hour, and a powerful air pump able to deliver high volumes of air at a 1.85 metre head.

Replacement air stones are Maxi wooden air stones which are available on this store.

The reaction pipe has a diameter of 20 cm (8"), both outlet pipes are located outside of the skimmer. If used with a powerful air pump ( e.g. WISA 1000), the 2 lime wood air stones produce a fine foam, that is directed in a counter current to the water. The stones can be changed quickly and easily.
